The Rebirth of Ruby...?
The Ruby programming language is on the brink of a revolutionary release...or a catastrophic blow-up. Ruby 3.0.0 is expected to be released in 2020, which will bring a wealth of tools and features. "It's starting to feel like 2007 again. We have this big, great Ruby release, and it's coming soon. I suggest getting excited, getting involved. This is a great time to be a Rubyist," says Joe. However, according to Joe, some features are already here. "The reason Ruby is running three times faster has to do with frozen string literals. Every gem ever written since the beginning of time that's still being used by projects is going to break. We're going to make frozen string literals default, and we're going to blow up the entire world of Ruby."
Rubyists, what do you think?
